Our Mission
To provide a structured after-school and summer program that provides educational, physical and spiritual benefits to at-risk children in east Waxahachie in a safe, Christian environment.
As head of the CGM board of directors, Diane Henley oversees and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Diane is retired after 36 years experience as a public school teacher, including Special Ed, and has served on the CGM board since 2004. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Waxahachie where she teaches Sunday school and ESL and is also involved in music ministry and the missions ministry team. She is also a volunteer with Ellis County CASA.
Jim is primarily responsible for fund raising activities and relationships with contributors. He is a retired retail manager who majored in Accounting/Journalism at Baylor University. Jim spent over 20 years in investment management and directing operations in the life insurance industry. He also serves as Chaplain of American Legion Post 361 in Ennis, Texas and is a member of the Partners in Education Board with WISD. He has worked as a volunteer in Waxahachie schools for over 16 years. Jim is a Deacon of Alpha and Omega Church in Waxahachie.
