To provide a structured after-school and summer program that provides educational, physical and spiritual benefits to at-risk children in east Waxahachie in a safe, Christian environment.
Born and raised in El Campo, Texas where she attended First Baptist Church, Betty Jo accepted Christ at age 11 and dedicated her life to full time Christian service as a sophomore in high school. After graduating from Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary, She was commissioned as a foreign missionary, serving in Nigeria, Jamaica and at the Baptist Spanish Publishing House. After missionary service she worked with the Red Oak ISD until retirement. As a member of First Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Betty Jo currently serves on the Mission Ministry team, volunteers with the ESL program and serves as outreach leader of her Sunday school class. She is also a volunteer with the local food bank, Waxahachie Care.
Born and raised in Waxahachie, Texas, Brandon’s desire is to create a better community that provides more options for the youth of today. He is the founder of the Boys II Men mentoring program and is an active member of The Life Church in Waxahachie. As a husband of 12 years and the father of 5, he has a heart for training young boys on how to become godly men and productive members of society. Brandon brings a fresh and relevant take on the risk and needs of today’s children.
